IBIS DV9

RAD Cycles and Gear are an authorised dealer for Ibis Cycles, who have been designing bikes in Santa Cruz since 1981.

The IBIS DV9 was Claire’s choice to replace her beloved hardtail. She wanted something fast and nimble for single track rides, bike packing, blasting out on a local night ride, keeping up with the kids and taking the dog for a quick run.

This custom build was based around the 29” medium carbon fibre frame and 120ml RockShox Pike Ultimate Fork.

What it’s got:

• 2.6” tyre width clearance

• Internal cable routing

• Thick rubber downtube and chainstay protection

• 2 x bottle clearance on any size frame

• Frame colour available in electric teal or silver lining.

Michael stepped Claire through the process of building her bike. Claire has had several opportunities to get on the tools in the workshop - it's great to have such an eager and engaged student. Sharing bike knowledge with our customers supports them to become more confident and independent in maintaining their bikes and also understand how their bikes work.
