Our values

We spend a lot of time riding with our children, friends and community because bikes are fun and they provide an opportunity to connect with nature and with others. Also the feeling of riding down a hill with the wind in your face…is hard to beat! We love bikes and we are passionate about sharing our joy for them with others.

We acknowledge that cycling is a privileged sport, recreation and mode of transport and is not accessible to everyone.

Whether you are a woman, man, cis or gender diverse, LGBTQIA+ person - there’s a space for you here. Regardless of culture, race, ability, gender, sexuality or age, you and your community have to right to participate in cycling.

We will not judge your technical knowledge or ability but we are happy to share what we know in a way that suits you.

We warmly welcome feedback, suggestions and questions from everyone, either directly or via phone or email (see contact details at bottom of page) . We are always working towards doing better.

    Aka “the Bike Whisperer”

Michael (he/him) spent his early years drooling over bikes at Rosanna Bike Shop in Naarm. Since finishing school, he worked in the bike industry both in Australia and Germany. For the last 10 years he has been operating an “appointment only” workshop for servicing bicycles, while focusing on his industrial design and metal fabrication business @imakeradstuff.
