IBIS Exie USA

Our Shop Ambassador Alana Fletcher picked up her new custom bike today. This sweet ride has been made possible through Ibis Cycles, Rowney Sports and SRAM (and of course Alana’s dedication to her riding and her super supportive parents!)
The IBIS Exie USA is designed, built, and tested in their Santa Cruz factory in California.
This is a World-Cup winning cross-country race bike with a sub 2,000g frame weight and dw-link suspension. This is the perfect bike for modern cross country racing because of it’s combination of pedaling efficiency and downhill performance.
What it’s got:
2.4” tyre clearance
Clearance for two water bottles inside the front triangle on every size frame
Integrated chain guide
Internal cable routing
Frame available in 3 colours: blood orange burgundy, mercury silver and clear charcoal
The build:
Ibis Exie USA medium
RockShox Sid Ultimate fork 120mm
RockShox Sid Luxe Ultimate rear shock 100mm
RockShox Twistloc Ultimate 3P
SRAM XO Transmission group set
RockShox Reverb AXS dropper post
SRAM Level Ultimate brakes
IBIS S28 Carbon Wheelset with Industry 9 hubs
Maxxis Reckon Race 29” x 2.4 tyres (front and rear)
The RockShox Twist will allow Alana to switch her suspension’s compression damping on the fly, without taking her hands off the grips. There are three positions that activate: Open, Pedal, and Lock.
We are also setting up a pair of secondary training wheels (IBIS 933 Aluminum) for Alana to clock up the miles on. They are a sturdier version for longevity and to give the bike a sprightly feeling come race day, when the lightweight carbon wheels go back on.
We can’t wait to see where Alana takes this bike and where the bike takes her!
